Testimonials

Thank you so much for the wonderful help you gave my family.

You taught me to acknowledge feelings, be calm and consistent with consequences. By using your techniques I have gotten my happy, loving, smiling son back. You showed me how to look at myself and improve the way I mothered my children. You taught me that discipline with consistent consequences is love. You acknowledged my issues with our judgement and helped me move forward with a happy family life. My son uses the tools you taught and showed him to manage his frustrations in a positive way. You are able to relate to both children and adults with simple, realistic, implementable advise. From our very first meeting you gave us tools that changed the dynamic of our family. We are forever grateful and appreciative of you. You are truly a special person with a genuine gift for your profession. Anyone who is struggling or just wants to be better would serve themselves and their family well to meet with you. I thank our pediatrician for recommending you. With sincere gratitude and respect.

You taught me a valuable lesson

I will never forget asking you "WHEN is an appropriate time to use anger as a response", and you replied never. I'd never been presented with that possibility and you caught me by surprise. You further explained about the use of consequences instead of anger. I have used that knowledge successfully on several occasions, and it has changed things for me, and for my daughter. There's no way to thank you enough for what you taught me and gave us. You were a God-send to us, Carol. Thank you.

Carol treated my son and I as a team...

My son was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder at the age of 14. He suffered from paic attacks, stomach disorders, severe weight loss and bouts of depression. Attending school was particularly difficult for him. Medication and therapy were the recommended course of treatment.

Because of the fear of judgment generated by his extreme anxiety, it was difficult for my son to "open up" in therapy and he was completely closed off if he felt in any way threatened or judged. From the moment he met Carol, her warmth an professionalism put him at ease an he was able to discuss with her his deepest concerns and fears. Carol treated my son and I as a team, helping us to develop a plan to enable him to complete his education and keep him socialized at a level that would alleviate the panic attacks, but expose him to situations that allowed him to grow in confidence when dealing with his anxiety. Carol was always positive with my son and helped him to see his strengths. I would recommend her as a therapist to anyone looking for help for their child"

My daughter has gained self confidence

Through Carol's therapy my daughter has gained self-confidence and the ability to communicate her feelings and concerns in a positive and healthy way. My daughter has a trust and bond with Carol that I will be forever thankful for.

She is my friend and she knows how to help me

Our daughter (7 years old) feels much better since we started to see Carol. She is so good to her, very patient and she helps our family too. Now ever time that our daughter feels bad again, she just asks to take her to Carol. She says "She is my friend and she knows how to help me" and she loves the treasure box.
