Social Skills Group
Print E-mail

Many children perform well in school and home, but lack the ability to mediate and maintain friendships.

Carol and colleague Karen J. Bilter, Ph.D., and former school psychologist, have offer a weekly a social skills group for children ages 7-11 years.

We encourage your children to participate in our social skills program. They will learn to become more self aware and be taught learning tools which will improve their behavior with others.

In a comfortable and supportive setting, children learn and practice social skills. These skills may include:

  • Coping with Conversation
  • Feelings Identification
  • Perspective
  • Talking
  • Bullying
  • Problem Solving
  • Relaxation Strategies
  • Positive self-talk
  • Many other skills
